Take the opportunity to try out our new Expressive with Mixed Media in this special 'taster' art class before committing to the full 4-week program. Meet your tutor Naomi Heath who will explain what to expect during the program and experience using some of the materials that will be explored. Expressive with Mixed Media aims to explore layering, abstract design, composition, shape and form by combining anything from collage, textiles, pencil, and paint. As part of our 'Ink It Up' initiative, supported by Bayside City Council, Bayley Arts is excited to welcome professional Printmakers Lisa Sewards and Trudy Rice to our studios. This is a special one-off hands-on workshop in a small sized class where you'll discover the magical world of Solar Plate Etching. This non-toxic intaglio etching process uses the sun's natural UV (or a UV lightbox) and water rather than harmful acids and solvents to create remarkable results. Loving the Expressive with Acrylic course and want more? This is for you! Bayley Arts has extended its Expressive with Acrylic Term 2 classes. Tutor Naomi Heath will continue to deliver this dynamic class up until the end of term two so you can continue the abstract journey. Find a space in our gallery and sit or lie on your yoga mat, while you immerse yourself in healing sounds and art. Sound frequencies are used to engage with the body and mind; with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health.
