The Bayley Voice Group serve as a platform to the wider Bayley House community, ensuring that all information is accessible and readily available.
The Bayley Voice Group works together on special projects including:

Meetings are held monthly. If you require any support or would like more client input to your particular projects, paperwork or any other area please reach out to us. We will share any information that is discussed at our Consumer Meetings so you are up to date with client ideas and questions.

Bar LevinBar has been at Bayley House for over 10 years and enjoys mixing with a wide variety of his peers. Bar joined the Client Voice Group because he wants to help be a voice for people who don’t speak with words. |

Tessa HensTessa has been the driving force behind the Client Voice Group and has taken a lead role in developing the group. Tessa will assist in guiding the focus of the group on projects that produce positive outcomes for Bayley House. |

Anna JonesA relatively new face at Bayley House, Anna joined so that she could get involved in and meet more people. |

Paul MastersonPaul has been involved in many client groups during his long tenure at Bayley House, including the monthly Consumer Group meetings and the VALID network meetings. He is keen to combine his work in all three groups to the benefit of the wider Bayley House community. |

Jacqueline McLeodJacqueline has been a long time member of the art team and she joined this group so she could contribute to new ideas for Bayley House. |
John AshbyBoard ChairA committee member since 2018, John joined the board on 1 April 2020 as Chair. An experienced director and volunteer, he recently chaired a disability service provider through its transition to NDIS and is an active mentor in the not-for-profit sector. He brings a commercial focus from a long career with a global management consulting firm and is passionate about strengthening relationships between the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. John is the step-father of a Bayley House client. |

Leanne RavenLeanne joined the Board in May 2020. She is an experienced CEO and non-executive director, consumer advocate and data-driven leader inspiring innovation which adds value at Board, operational and consumer-facing levels. Currently, the CEO of Crohn’s & Colitis Australia her executive career has involved leading change and transformative growth in not-for-profit organisations in health, health professional regulation, disability and community sectors. She has been a non-executive director of 15 companies and chair of 4. Her son, Elliot is a client at Bayley House and he attends the day centre. |

David Calver

David ColeA member of various Bayley House committees since 2011, David was elected to the Board in November 2021. A retired architect, David was a design director of an international architectural practice for thirty years, delivering large scale commercial, civic and education projects throughout Australia, Asia, and the UAE. David brings design, management and corporate governance skills, together with education understanding, having previous teaching experience at both secondary and tertiary levels. His daughter is a client at Bayley House. |

Tony RutherfordTony joined the Board in 2022. He is a highly regarded and trusted advisor who is a specialist in construction, operations, services and development documentation and dispute resolution for major infrastructure projects. Tony brings a wealth of experience to Bayley House specifically in his work advising a range of community housing providers, property funds and operators in relation to the development and operation of Specialist Disability Accommodation. |

John PhillipsJohn joined the Board in July 2022, following a ten year appointment on the Board of an independent girls’ school. John is currently Director of Advancement at Brighton Grammar School, a school with which Bayley House has a very close association. John brings to the Bayley House Board particular expertise in the area of business development pursuing mutually beneficial cross-sectoral partnerships. His expertise also extends into community engagement and philanthropy, instigating and driving successful major fundraising campaigns and community engagement initiatives. John has a number of friends with family members as clients at Bayley House. |

Vicky McIverVicky joined the Bayley House Board in 2023. Vicky is a founding Director of Arrus Knoble (Aus) a boutique consulting practice. She has led performance improvement projects across many sectors including disability. Vicky has held board positions in the TAFE and community and social sectors and is regularly called on to advise boards on their strategic direction. In 2015-16 Vicky was part of a State Government appointed TAFE assessment panel that reviewed all TAFEs in Victoria. Vicky holds a BA with Honours in Political Studies and a Master of Management (Organisational Systems) from Monash University. Vicky is a Member of the AICD and is a qualified Mediator and member of the Resolution Institute. Vicky has a daughter who attends sessions at several disability support providers. |
Deb StuartChief Executive OfficerDeb Stuart joined Bayley House as CEO in October 2023. Bringing with her a wealth of experience in the disability and community health sectors, Deb most recently served as CEO of Central Bayside Community Health Services. As a highly experienced health and human services leader, Deb possesses deep expertise in contemporary health care practices, with a focus on acute, sub-acute, community-based, and primary care services across all stages of life. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a capacity to foster and sustain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both individuals and the wider community. Deb’s leadership is underpinned by a strong set of values, including justice, fairness, kindness, diversity, and inclusion. With a personal commitment to creating equitable access to health and community services, she is driven by a passion for meaningful change. Her proven stamina, strategic vision, and operational expertise enable her to deliver both immediate results and sustained improvements over the long term. |

Greg PattersonChief Financial OfficerGreg is a Chartered Accountant with many years’ experience leading Finance and Corporate Services teams in the Health & Community Services sector, including Disability. He thrives in contributing to the financial sustainability of community services organisations which he sees as essential to our way of life, but which are typically under resourced. In addition, it’s the people within the sector, including the staff, clients, and various other stakeholders, that Greg identifies as being key to what has drawn him to work in organisations like Bayley House. |

Andy GabrielGeneral Manager Home and Living SupportAndy joined Bayley House early 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the delivery of accommodation and community living supports in the disability and aged care sectors. He is passionate about the provision of a high standard quality of care that is reflective of the needs and expectations of the clients. Andy brings impressive working knowledge and a valuable skill set combined with his personable approach. |

Natarsha WarrenGeneral Manager Day ProgramsNatarsha has worked in the disability sector for over 20 years with extensive experience in program development, diversity and inclusion. Holding a Bachelor of Education and Music alongside qualifications in disability, Natarsha has held many roles across multiple departments of Bayley House. Natarsha has successfully guided the development of our Day Program activities and in the Bayley House Leadership team for over 5 years. Her previous experience lecturing in disability studies at Victoria University paved the way for her Senior Consulting role with Disability Services Consulting (DSC). With experience in Person Centred Active Support and Practice Leadership, Natarsha is passionate about ensuring the people we support experience an exceptional quality of life. |

Penny ScottGeneral Manager People, Experience and QualityPenny has worked in the disability sector within not for profit and local government organisations for over 30 years and is passionate and committed to supporting people with disability and their families. Penny previously worked at Bayley House for over 18 years before departing to undertake roles with Melba and Scope. Penny returned to Bayley House in March 2022 to continue supporting the development of programs and services across the organisation. Penny is a strong advocate for person centred active support, and equitable access to services. She has an extensive background in direct support work, program development, community partnerships and management; and holds a Graduate Diploma in Community Sector Management and related qualifications in Outdoor Recreation and Leisure (Disability) and Investigations. Previous roles undertaken at Bayley House include Program Manager and General Manager of Day Programs, Quality Manager and Team Leader responsible for the establishment of Roxburgh House. |

Michelle HaywardDirector of PhilanthropyMichelle joined Bayley House in 2023 and brings with her over 20 years of experience working across philanthropy and fundraising in the not for profit sector. Michelle is excited about working with the Bayley House team to inspire our key stakeholders, both internally and externally to realise our vision for all people with intellectual disability to lead a full and rich life. |

Justin BruceDirector Hidden DisabilitiesJustin joined Bayley House early 2020 and further strengthened the marketing department to help create, deliver and promote the valuable services offered by Bayley House to enable our clients to flourish and thrive. For the past 10 years Justin has been dedicated to promoting the voice of people with disability to build self-advocacy and proudly supporting the workforce who strive everyday to make a positive social impact. Justin is a professional marketer with a career that spans several sectors and too many decades to mention. |
KarenFront Office ManagerKaren joined Bayley House in 2022 and shares the Front Office Manager role with Leonie. She has experience in Financial Services, the Fitness industry and Food distribution. Originally from the UK, Karen spent 6 years living in South Africa prior to moving to Australia in 2011. In her front office role Karen supports the smooth running of Day Programs through a variety of administrative and logistical support. Karen loves the fast paced and community focused environment of Bayley House and the fact that no two days are the same. |

LeonieFront Office ManagerLeonie joined Bayley House in 2019. Leonie has worked across a number of different industries, including Banking, IT, Oil, Health and Funerals before happily settling into the Disability Sector. Her dual role means she works in the Front Office twice a week and the other days she works on the Community, Leisure and Recreation program. Leonie enjoys working in this fun environment which gives her a huge range of varied duties on a daily basis. |

RenaeProgram ManagerRenae has worked in the disability sector since 2003 and began at Bayley House in 2019 as an instructor in Day Programs before moving into the role of Program Manager. Her previous experience was in supported employment services, known as Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE). Renae is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and increase their independence. She has strong skills in program planning which she uses to support our clients to achieve their individual goals and aspirations, as shaped by their choice and control. |

SerenaProgram ManagerSerena joined Bayley House in 2015 and instantly noticed the warmth of the Bayley House culture and the inclusiveness of clients and staff. Serena became a Team leader in 2020 and has relished the opportunity to lead a staff group with development, training and support. Serena is a member of the Client Voice Group and was delighted to have the opportunity to work together with clients and staff discussing and implementing new ideas within Day Programs. |

TessaProgram Manager Bayley ArtsTessa has been working in the disability sector since 2006 and has a background in Specialist Teaching and Dance Therapy, including six years working in the UK. She has a passion for the arts with Graduate, Post Graduate and Fellowship studies in Art, Creative Arts Therapies, Teaching and Social Equity. Tessa is passionate about Client Advocacy and is very active in supporting our Bayley Voice Group. She loves working with clients and supporting them to connect with their community. As a Program Manager, Tessa’s role allows creativity, bringing to life the unique and interesting programs and opportunities in partnership with our clients and local community.

LapriniTeam LeaderLaprini began at Bayley House in 1999 and has now become one of our Team Leaders. Initially working in Home and Living, an opportunity arose in 2004 and Laprini joined Day Programs as an instructor. Laprini assisted with developing and setting up the Transition group for young adults. This group supported our younger clients to build skills in our vocation areas and also their independence. Laprini is passionate about supporting Bayley House clients, staff families. |

KylieTeam LeaderKylie has worked in the disability sector for over 25 years. Kylie has a degree in Health Science and previous career in nursing. Having a family member with disability, it was an organic decision to move into the disability sector and utilise her skills and experience. Completing a Certificate V in Disability, Kylie now has a focus on supporting people with a disability to live healthy lives through engaging programs which enable them to make healthier lifestyle choices. |

KathrynTeam LeaderKathryn began at Bayley House in 2015 in our creative arts area. Since then she has been quite involved in our retail art programs, supporting clients to make products such as candles, bracelets and necklaces. Kathryn was also involved in the healthy lunch initiative which supported clients to develop skills in order fulfilment, meal preparation and food delivery. |
AstraHead of OperationsShort Term AccommodationAstra brings over two decades of experience spanning all tiers of government and senior leadership roles in profit-for-purpose organisations. Since joining Bayley House in 2023, she has been unwavering in her commitment to empowering clients to achieve their NDIS goals through the delivery of innovative and impactful support services. With a Masters of Leadership and Management and advanced qualifications in Project Management, Business Accounting, Mental Health, and Training and Assessment, Astra seamlessly blends academic excellence with practical expertise. An authorised marriage celebrant and advocate for love as a human right, she exemplifies inclusivity and compassion. AnnaTeam Leader Marriage & In-Home Support Care CoordinatorAnna has over 30 years of experience working in the disability sector in various roles. She began her journey at Bayley House in 2007 and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership in guiding highly motivated teams within our Home and Living services. Anna currently oversees two separate services: Marriage and the In-Home Support Services. In her role as Team Leader at Marriage House, she is responsible for ensuring high standards of care and support. As the coordinator of the In-Home Support Services, she is equally committed to supporting staff to provide exceptional one to one support to individuals to live the life they choose. Anna’s passion for mentoring staff ensures that the people they support lead meaningful lives. She is dedicated to developing and supporting teams to provide best practice active support, fostering an environment that empowers both staff and the people we support. |

RamanTeam LeaderLeonard HouseRaman brings extensive experience in the disability sector and a strong commitment to supporting people with disabilities. He prides himself on creating an environment where clients and their families feel comfortable, supported, and empowered. While completing his Community Welfare Diploma, Raman undertook placements at Yooralla and Sacred Heart Mission and volunteered with Multiple Sclerosis Limited and The Nerve Centre. Raman joined Bayley House in 2021 and now leads the team at Leonard as Team Leader. |

CaitlynActivities and Coordination SupportShort and Medium Term AccommodationCaitlyn brings a wealth of experience in disability support, capacity building, skills development, and service administration to Bayley House. With expertise in employment pathways and School Leaver Employment Programs, she is an invaluable asset to the team. In her role as STA Activities and Coordination Support Officer, Caitlyn is responsible for enhancing service delivery by managing STA bookings, SAB activities, capacity-building programs, and ensuring compliance with service standards. She also leads the MediStays program, supporting clients through rehabilitation and facilitating smooth transitions to independent living. Caitlyn is committed to delivering high-quality, client centred outcomes that empower individuals to achieve their goals. |

AliceService Delivery ManagerShort Term AccommodationAfter 18 successful months leading Short Term Accommodation (STA) services, Alice has transitioned into the role of Service Delivery Manager for Home and Living. With a strong focus on client outcomes, best practices, and contemporary service delivery, she is well-suited to oversee daily operations. Alice brings experience in Supported Independent Living, Capacity Building, and School Leavers Employment Supports. Originally from Ireland, Shannon has settled in Australia and become a dedicated member of the Earlsfield team. In mid 2024, she was appointed as Team Leader. Shannon brings energy, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to active support and NDIS compliance, ensuring the highest quality of care for Bayley House clients. |

EmmaTeam LeaderLubrano HouseEmma joined Bayley House in 2019, gaining extensive experience across all Home and Living services. After a brief return to Ireland, she rejoined Bayley House and became a dedicated member of the Lubrano team. Emma’s strong administrative skills and passion for encouraging independent living have been pivotal in her role. Since being appointed Team Leader, she has played a key role in fostering a supportive and empowering environment, building a highly effective team, and promoting independence for the Lubrano residents. |

ChrisTeam LeaderPoet HouseChris joined Bayley House in 2022, initially working extensively at Blackwood, where he developed a strong foundation in providing individualised support. He was later appointed as Team Leader at Poet, where he now leads a small, dedicated team. Chris is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support, ensuring the unique needs of each resident at Poet are met with care and excellence. |

EllyTeam LeaderBendigo HouseElly began her journey at Bayley House in 2018 as a Support Worker before taking time away in 2021 to travel and gain new experiences. She returned to Bayley House in 2023 and was appointed Team Leader at Bendigo. Elly leads a large team with a strong focus on applying active support principles in every interaction. Her dedication ensures our residents lead rich and meaningful lives, guided by their individual choices and preferences. |

Damian Dalton
Board ChairA Foundation member and board chair since 2018, Damian is an experienced Managing Director, combining his vast expertise in the property sector, with his personal connection to our organisation, where he has a sibling. His extensive experience across a broad range of industries in both commercial and government, provides strong governance and strategic thinking to the Foundation. Damian’s commitment reflecting both his professional acumen and familial tie, embodies his passion for securing Bayley House’s financial future. |

Eli Glotzer
Eli’s personal connection to Bayley House, drawn from his sibling’s past experience with the organisation, fuels his passion for supporting people with intellectual disability. Joining the Foundation in 2019, Eli’s background in commercial banking provides key financial management skills and market insights, vital for effectively supporting the Bayley House’s ancillary fund. Eli’s personal perspective and professional expertise offers meaningful support for the Foundation. Eli also brings a strong network of supportive businesses and individuals who continue to support Bayley House and its Foundation. |

Stephen Mitchell
Stephen joined the Bayley House Foundation Board in 2019. Stephen is the Founder and CEO of his own successful financial services firm that has been a strong supporter of Bayley House for many years. Stephen has over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry and a keen interest in philanthropy. He brings his wealth of knowledge to the Board of the Foundation, motivated to ensure good governance and growth of the Foundation. |
