To market, to market

Earlier this year we introduced ourselves to local artist, Deb McNaughton.

Deb is a really active local artist. Our Day Programs GM, Natarsha connected with her and explained about our soon to be open Arts Hub. A few months later, we applied to take part in Debs ‘Makers Market’ and we were accepted! This was very exciting for our retail art department as selling our creations in person has been extremely limited recently.

Launching on a Friday afternoon and continuing into the weekend, our stall was quite successful with many cards sold. This was also a great opportunity to introduce ourselves to members of the public and other artists. It was great to share the news of our upcoming exhibition, to showcase our talented artists and share the news of our future Arts Hub.

Special thanks must go to Leonie, Katherine, Mickey, Laprini and Renae for going the extra mile and volunteering their time to make it happen. And thanks to Deb for welcoming Bayley House into her art space and also introducing us to all of the talented makers at her market!
