Bin It for Bayley: Turning Cans into Community Support!
At Bayley House, we’re always looking for creative ways to support our programs, and our Container Deposit Collection Scheme is now in full swing! Through Bin It for Bayley, we’re collecting eligible drink containers to raise funds—while also promoting sustainability and community involvement.
How It Works
With the support of the Friends & Family Group, we now have special purple bins at our Middle Crescent, Brighton site to collect eligible drink containers. Every bottle, can, and carton placed in this bin contributes directly to funding Bayley House programs.
The People We Support Love Getting Involved!
One of the most exciting parts of this initiative is seeing the enthusiasm of our Tuesday group, who love taking the cans offsite to the collection points. For them, it’s more than just recycling—it’s a fun and meaningful activity. They enjoy:
✅ Sorting and collecting the containers.
✅ Taking trips to the refund point.
✅ Putting the containers through the machine and watching it work!
✅ Celebrating every contribution that helps Bayley House grow.
How You Can Help
We’re inviting friends, family, and the local community to get involved! You can now drop off eligible containers at 54 Middle Crescent, Brighton.
Important info: We ask that you avoid our busy transport times and drop off between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM or after 4pm.
The drop off point is to the left in the purple bins as you enter at 54 Middle Crescent.
This is just the beginning! In the future, we plan to introduce more drop-off points at our other sites—so stay tuned for updates.
Every Container Counts!
By supporting Bin It for Bayley, you’re helping to fund enriching programs and experiences for the people we support—while also doing something great for the environment.
