Learn, Create, and Serve: Join Our Cert II in Hospitality!
Looking to build your skills, gain real-world experience, and take a step toward employment? The Cert II in Hospitality at Bayley House is the perfect way to learn, grow, and have fun along the way!
The current group of hospitality students is wrapping up, and we are so proud of what they have achieved. Some are moving into paid positions, while others are gearing up to run the brand-new café at Middle Crescent, where they will continue developing their customer service and café skills in a supportive and hands-on environment.
Jess has paired her learnings of the CERT II Hospitality alongside a volunteer placement at Farro Cafe, Moorabbin in the last 12 months under the guidance of Tia at Farro. Jess’s goal is to gain paid employment in a local cafe once she has graduated from the CERT II course.
Now, it’s your turn! We have a few spots available in our next Cert II in Hospitality course, starting in July 2025. This course is delivered by Access Skills Training and supported by Bayley House staff. Over 18 months, you will gain practical experience, build confidence, and learn everything from making great coffee to delivering first class customer service. The course is government-subsidised, so it only costs $170, and all you need is a photo of your Medicare and pension card to access the subsidy.
If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, email our Community Engagement Coordinator, Caroline at cglass@bayleyhouse.org.au to express your interest.
Don’t miss out—this is your chance to gain skills, meet new people, and take a step toward your future!
