Long lunches and even longer standing support.

Fundraising In the Community

Bayley House had the privilege of being the beneficiary of the Ian Hyman Melbourne Charity Luncheon and this year we celebrated the 10th anniversary.

Our partnership with Ian and his team has been incredibly rewarding, and we are deeply grateful for their incredible support over the past 10 years. The event raises essential funds and also helps to raise awareness of Bayley House and the people we support. This year, we welcomed many new faces, introducing even more people to the Bayley House community.

The RACV Club was at capacity with over 320 attendees enjoying the event. Entertainment was provided by veteran solo performer Andrew Rigo, followed by an interview with AFL legend Brian Wilson. The event was a tremendous success, raising over $120,000 through ticket sales, raffles, and the highlight of the day – an auction conducted by Ian Hyman himself.

Such events require a lot of coordination, and we are fortunate to have an incredible volunteer committee led by Kate Hulsman who works months in advance to plan every detail. Numerous organisations and individuals also contribute by donating their time and services as auction or raffle items. A special thank you to the volunteer organizing committee and MC Russell Fletcher for ensuring the day ran smoothly, and a big thank you to everyone who attended and supported Bayley House.
