Baysiders Basketball Club
The Baysiders Basketball Club is a program established in 1992 with players from Marriott House and Bayley House coming together to enter a basketball team in the Powerhouse Basketball Competition for Players with an Intellectual Disability. This competition runs twice a year, with a summer and winter season. The competition is managed and run by volunteers and is now known as Power Assist.
The Baysiders Basketball Club plays during the winter season which runs at the Hawthorn Secondary College from May to October each year. There are several divisions in the competition and we compete in Division Three-The Baysiders and Division Four- The Baysider Dolphins.
