The Bayley Express
18th of December 2008
More than 650 people attended the annual Christmas Carols concert on December 15 at Brighton Grammar raising over $17,000 for Bayley House.
The members of the Allstars Theatre Company took the audience on the Bayley Express Train to see how countries around the world celebrate Christmas visiting US, England, Austria, Jamaica, Russia and many others. The reindeer were singing, the Queen's guards were patrolling and Santa's donkey even got involved. Many of the songs had a humourous element but perhaps one of the most haunting and beautiful was when Joanna sang Silent Night in Polish.
It was truly a lovely way to start Christmas.
Thank you to the talented cast and crew of the AllStars for such a great performance and the Bayley Birds for providing a wonderful supper.
