Carols in the Park

Bayley House was centre stage at the DFO Carols in the Park held each year at Dendy Park by the Bayside City Council. Not only was Bayley House the chosen event Charity Partner, but we also performed a rendition of ‘Jingle Bells’ as part of the program. Led by Katie, Margret, Tamara, Luke, Peter G, Georgina and Bri, a crowd of almost 5000 people joined together to sing the Jingle Bells and celebrate the arrival of Santa. They did a fantastic job and received a resounding round of applause from the audience.
Throughout the evening 12 volunteers sold event packs and glow-sticks to the crowd raising $2400. When combined with the sale of event Christmas Cards and donations from Sponsors, the event will have raised almost $6500 for Bayley House. Just as importantly it played an enormous role in raising the profile of Bayley House within the local community. Thank you and well done to all those who were involved on the night.
