Bayley House recieves Accreditation for next 3 years

Bayley House is required to undergo an external assessemtn of its operations every three years in order to be accredited and maintain our ‘DHS Registration’ to continue to receive government disability funding and deliver services.

During the second week of Feb, Bayley House was visited by an Accreditation Audit Team from Quality, Innovation & Performance (QIP). As part of the audit process they reviewed hard copy evidence, such samples of client, staff, and volunteer files and conducted group interviews with clients and carers, external stakeholders, the board, staff, and volunteers. They also visited several of our day and accommodation service sites including Middle Crescent, Noyes St, Respite, Marriage Rd, and Lubrano St.

On Feb 17 Bayley House was advised by the Auditors, that they have recommended is that Bayley House has met all of the required DHS standards. Our accreditation is now approved until May 2018.

Thank you to all those involved; it was a great team effort.
