Bayley House continues to prepare for the introduction of the NDIS. We are committee to keeping the members of our community updated on the progress of the trials and informed on all aspects of the NDIS so our clients and their families are in a strong position to get the best out of the NDIS when it is rolled out 2016.

The Information Session addressed the practical aspects of preparing for the NDIS and gave an overivew of the progress of the trials so far, and the lessons learned. Bayley House's NDIS Transition Manager, Rhonda Lawson-Street addressed concerns raised by parents and carers in a recent survey undertaken by the Future Visions Committee and addressed other questions that have been asked.

Ms Christine Scott, Project Manager with VALID, the Victorian Advocacy League for Individuals with a Disability, and Mr Peter Weir both spoke about their personal experiences with securing funding packages for their adult children who are involved in the Barwon trial.
