Charity Lunch - 28 July

The Annual Political Lunch hosted by Ian Hyman and Associates will be held on Friday July 28 2017 to benefit Bayley House. The lunch features a theme of 'Trump or Drump' and take a light hearted look at the global trend to right wing politics. Guest speaker is Mr Alex Malley, former CEO of CPA Australia. It promises to be an entertaining afternoon.

About the Luncheon

For the past 20 years Ian Hyman, friends and business colleagues, have been raising money for charities that support people with intellectual disabilities in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

In 2014, Ian Hyman, together with Kate Savage established a committee in Melbourne and formed the Annual Political Charity Lunch.  The Melbourne-based committee have raised over $150,000 for Bayley House, a disability service provider located in Brighton. Bayley House has been part of the Bayside community since 1951 and supports over 220 adults with an intellectual disability and their families. Bayley House’s facilities include a day activity centre, eight houses providing supported accommodation and short term overnight respite.

In the past three years, the Charity Lunch has raised funds to assist Bayley House complete key projects including the fit out of a new supported accommodation residence and the refurbishment of program spaces and facilities for individuals with High Support needs and the performing art and multipurpose space at Bayley House.
